September Daily Collection: 21

Day 21: I totally lied about the peach thing. (See day 20 to see what I'm talking about.) I have this giant pile of unused ultramarine just sitting on my palette this week and the background needed a color. I went all in. It's greyed a bit and you can tell my paint is wet. Because it is. I have a wave of white slowly creeping like desertification across my palette. That's what happens when you leave too much water on your Sta-Wet palette sponge. (And I guess not at all how the word desertification should be used.)

Painting comes signed (not shown) in the bottom right just under the image.

About the September Daily Collection:

This September I challenged myself to do a daily acrylic painting as part of a 30-day art challenge. I stepped away from the patterning of the Plaid and Roses series and got loose with paint. The flowers in this series, the September Daily Collection are all from that challenge.

Flowers are available through October 3rd.

Paintings ship in a rigid mailer.
